Sweet Sarah over at Dodeline Design made a blog post yesterday about the “little things” that made her day. What a lovely idea! I was inspired and thought I’d share my own “little things” list with you from this week. It helps to keep things in perspective, since there were some real challenges this week, too. I’m sharing my list, and invite you to share yours, too, in the comment section below. Thanks for visiting!
It’s the Little Things…
“Little” moments from this week:
- Mint mocha frappe find while grocery shopping. Out for a limited time.
Afterwards, I’ll have to concoct my own recipe! - Fun shopping trip with 3 new “Fall” scented candles
- Catching up with my mom and dad last night during a phone call
- Cleaning my car and using orange-scented amorall (sp) cloths
- Getting chores done last night so today I’ll have time for crafts and family
What were your favorite “little things” moments this week? Share them with us in the “comment” section below! Hope your weekend is a great one.

Sweet little things this week « Bounce
[...] Laura Catherine, my sweet husband’s cousin writes a blog I follow. She posted this week about little things that ...

the feeling of achievement after a burdensome task. That one Ahhhh moment. Seeing the joy in your son’s eye when you just helped him have the best and first dance party for his 13th birthday ever! Reconnecting with old friends and learn that you do make a difference. The scent of homey suckles.
Hi Paul, Love that feeling we get after a job well done! Sounds like the dance party was a blast. I also love the scent of honey suckles! Reminds me of my childhood.
Aw thanks for the shoutout!
You’re so welcome! I loved it on your blog. Always nice to be able to take time to count our blessings.
More gorgeous fall weather than I have ever experienced on the tundra.
Ice cream and a drive through the fall gorgeousness.
Sunday nap.
Fun with my hysterical sisters.
Hey Kristal, Glad to know you enjoy the Fall colors, too! Ice cream sounds yummy, hadn’t thought to combine that with a Fall drive.
I just “met” sweet Sarah recently and had the opportunity to visit her lovely blog. When I read this, I realized I never said why (in a post) why I picked “it’s the little things” as my blog tagline. I think I’ll do that soon and credit you both.
Fall scented candles are the best. And I want to slurp that frappe right off the screen.
I remember when I noticed you added that tagline and thought it was just perfect! Sarah is such a dear…good person to know, too!
